New Zealand has eight universities that offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across a variety of disciplines. These universities are:

New Zealand’s universities offer a range of academic programs at different levels of study, including:

Undergraduate programs (Bachelor’s degrees) which typically take three to four years to complete.

Postgraduate programs, including Master’s degrees and PhDs, which can take between one to two years (for a Master’s degree) to four to five years (for a PhD).

Professional programs, such as law and medicine, which can take longer to complete and may involve additional practical training or internships.
